Who is your President elect, Akufo-Addo or John Mahama?

In what many have tagged to be the most competitive election ever held in the fouth Republic, Ghana’s 7th December pesidential and parliamentary general election turned out to be the survive of the fittest.

With President-elect Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo already declared winner on 9th December by Electoral Commission of Ghana headed by Jean Mensa.

The biggest opposition party in Ghana, the National Democratic Congress have declared their Presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama as President elect according to their own coalition from their polling agents which they believe the EC is trying to rig for the New Patriotic Party.

“At the end of a transparent, fair, orderly and timely and peaceful presidential election, the total number of valid votes cast was 13,434,574, representing 79 per cent of the total registered voters. Permit me to present the result in the order of appearance on the 2020 presidential ballot.”

“At the end of the polls, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of the New Patriotic Party obtained 6,730,413 votes, being 51.595% of the total valid votes cast. John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress obtained 6,214,889 votes being 47.366 of the total valid votes cast,”  – Jean Mensa (EC Chair)

 

With Jean Nana declaring Akufo-Addo as winner on 9th December, 2020. Who’s verdict are you taking serious, EC or NDC? Who is your President elect, Akufo-Addo or John Mahama?
