Ghana’s apex court, the Supreme Court has on Monday January 4 rejected an objection raised by Tsatsu Tsikata against Justice Clemence Honyenuga in the case where the Attorney General is challenging an injunction placed on the Member of Parliament-elect for Hohoe, John Peter Amewu.
Tsatsu Tsikata who is representing the residents of SALL told the Supreme court that Justice Clemence Jackson Honyenuga must be taken off the judges who are going to preside over the Amewu case.
Tistkaka feared that Justice Honyenuga was going to be bias based on his friendly relationship with John Peter Amewu.
Ghana’s Deputy Attorney General, Godfred Dame told the court that there was no evidence to that effect. The Supreme court has disagreed to remove Justice Honyenuga.
