Sammy Gyamfi was born on 28th March 1989. He is a Ghanaian lawyer and politician. He is the current National Communications Officer for the National Democratic Congress.
Sammy Gyamfi had his secondary education at the St. James Seminary Secondary School. He later went to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology for his first degree.
Due to his in-depth knowledge about political and social issues, Sammy Gyamfi won the hearts of members of TEIN-KNUST which furthered got him elected as the TEIN KNUST president in the year 2011-2012.
In 2012, Sammy Gyamfi was appointed by then Mayor of Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, Mr. Kojo Bonsu as his spokesperson and public relations officer for the Kumasi Metropolitan area.
He was also the Communications Director of Ibrahim Mahama’s Exton Cubic Mining Group.
In 2018 stood for National Communications Officer during the National Democratic Congress’s national executive elections and won by beating his only contender the then Deputy Communication Director of the Party Fred Agbenyo by 4,000 votes. He got 6,225 out of 9,000 votes cast whilst his contender Fred Agbenyo got 2,225 votes.
Sammy Gyamfi is currently single and not married.
