Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Spokesperson of the lawyers of the 2nd respondent in the ongoing election petition hearing which was filed by Ex-President John Mahama has made a wild allegation that members and supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have the wild believe that lead counsel for the petitioner, Mr Tsatsu Tsikata knows the law better than all the seven justices of the  Supreme Court which was cited by Ghanaontheglobe.com.

Honorable Kojo Oppong Nkrumah indicated that the analogy by NDC is really a wrong perception which is good and should not be entertained.

Kojo’s comments comes just after spokesperson of the lawyers of the petitioner, Dr Dominic Ayine made an allegation that the justices of the Supreme Court of Ghana  who are currently hearing the election petition case have an already predetermined agenda to rule against the petitioner, Mr John Dramani Mahama.

After Supreme the Court ruling on Tuesday, 16th February, 2020, lawyer Ayine said that the justices of the Supreme court are doing a great disservice to the people of Ghana by dismissing an application of the petitioner to reopen his case.

The current Chief Justice, Justice Kwasi Anin-Yeboah is currently presiding over Mahama’s petition case which is almost ending.
