Information reaching Ghanaontheglobe.com emerged that former Central Regional Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC), Bernard Allotey Jacobs is going to be appointed as a Deputy Minister in the Akufo-Addo NPP led government.
Informations reaching Ghanaontheglobe.com indicate that Allotey Jacobs will be serving as the Deputy Minister of Environment and Natural Resources.
The second term of the Akufo-Addo led government will witness another appointment from the largest opposition party, NDC in the country after Martin Amidu was appointed in his first term as Special Prosecutor.
A letter addressed to Allotey Jacobs which was signed by the National Chairman of NDC, Mr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, said Allotey Jacobs was suspended for “persistent anti-party conduct”.

Allotey Jacobs speculating appointment will definitely come as no surprise to most NDC folks because he has openly endorsed President Akufo-Addo and his government by even claiming he is better than John Mahama.
On 7th May, 2020 the leadership of NDC led by Chairman Ofosu Ampofo suspended Allotey Jacobs from been a member of the party for what the chairman described as “persistent anti-party conduct”.
