John Mahama takes Covid-19 vaccine, encourages Ghanaians to do same

The former president of the republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama and his beautiful wife, Lordina Mahama have taken their Covid-19 vaccine and have encouraged fans to do same.

As earlier on reported by Ghanaontheglobe.com they took the vaccine on Tuesday, 2nd March, 2021 at the Police Hospital in Accra during the early morning. He encouraged his over Six million supporters and all Ghanaians at large to advise themselves and take the vaccine.

Already most Ghanaians have commended him for such a patriotic effort that will save  a lot of Ghanaians due to the confidence they have in him.

Former president John Mahama after the vaccine posted on his social media handle that,

“Lordina and I this morning took our COVID-19 vaccine at the Police Hospital in Accra. I agreed to take the vaccine publicly, to encourage and assure all Ghanaians that the vaccines are safe. As a former Ambassador for the GAVI Alliance, I can confidently say that vaccines are useful in preserving our health. Ghanaians must therefore disregard all the rumours about the vaccine.

Let’s continue to #StaySafe, #maskup and wash our hands regularly to help stop the spread of COVID-19.”

As earlier on reported by Ghanaontheglobe.com, Ghana has received it’s first batch of the Coronavirus vaccines which is 600,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine licensed to the Serum Institute of India (AZ/SII).  Emirates Boeing 777-300ER touched down 7 days ago  at the Kotoka International Airport with 600,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccines.

Ghana is among 145 countries listed to receive vaccines from a number of suppliers through the COVAX Facility according to the World Health Organisation (WHO).
