Independent broadcast journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni who was formerly at multimedia’s Joy Fm has stated clearly that it was such a blessing that Dr. Kwame Nkrumah led Ghana to Independence and not Joseph Boakye Danquah because his rule could have been worse.

Manasseh Azure Awuni made this narrative because the descendants of JB Danquah led by the current president, Nana  Akufo-Addo are showing us a true reflection of how they would have used the state authority for their own interest based on current events according to him.

As earlier on reported by Ghanaontheglobe.com, the current Auditor General, Patrick Domelevo was asked by the current president, Akufo-Addo to go on a compulsory leave for over three months which was believed to be an attempt to shut down his mouth after the man was prosecuting Osafo Marfo a close member of the president for corruption allegation involving millions.

After Domelevo resumed office in March, 2021 two allegations have been levelled against him including the questioning of his age and his Nationality which they claimed he is a Togolese by the Audit Service Board.

Manasseh Azure Awuni believes  it is a deliberate attempt by President Akufo-Addo to shut the man down which he termed as human righ abuse.

“Thank God it was Nkrumah who led us to independence. Danquah’s descendants are showing us it could have been worse.” – Manasseh Azure Awuni made this post on his social media platform.
