Suspended former Central Regional Chairman for the largest opposition party in the country the National Democratic Congress(NDC), Mr. Allotey Jacobs has finally denounced his membership for his party.
According to a video cited by Ghanaontheglobe.com, Allotey Jacobs told Chairman General Kwame Sefa Kayi on Peace FM’s ‘Kokrokoo’ that he has quit the party himself after his suspension and as matter of fact he no longer belong to the party.
This came after Kwame Sefa asked him if he was bothered about his Party’s suspension with the response that he does not care about any suspension and as a matter of fact, for the first time he revealed that he has quit the NDC party.
Also Allotey Jacobs further warned the opposition not to do anything bad to discredit the current government because President Akufo-Addo is making life better for most people in the country. He made this declaration on Wednesday, 10th March, 2021.
As Ghanaontheglobe.com earlier reported, Allotey has been linked with an appointment by the Akufo-Addo led government. Mr Jacobs, a former Central regional Chairman of the NDC, who now describes himself as a social commentator, was suspended from the NDC on May 6, 2020 based on what it described as ‘his consistent anti-party conduct’
