One of Ghana’s energetic female singers, Sherifa Gunu has disclosed that Black Entertainment multiple award-winning artist, Sarkodie will soon win a Grammy award.
Sherifa Guru revealed to Ghanaontheglobe.com in her recent interview on UTv’s flagship program ‘United Showbiz’ with the host Nana Ama Mcbrown that based on Sarkodie’s unique way of fusing local elements and instruments in his rap music, she has the conviction that Sarkodie will soon win a Grammy.
She added that Sarkodie has mastered his craft to the extend that when ever you here his music you feel the African sound in it.
This comes after wild public criticism of Ghanaian local artistes after Nigerian stars Burna Boy and Wizkid bagged two awards at 2021 Grammy awards.

Some fanatics and critics criticized Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy for not putting enough in their works so that they can win Grammy’s. Sherifa Gunu statement will definitely bring some hope to the Ghanaian music industry.
