Sarkodie’s ‘BlackLove Virtual Concert’ Nominated At IRAWMA 2021

Multiple award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie who is known in real life as Michael Owusu Addi has been nominated for the prestigious International Reggae & World Music Awards (IRAWMA).

Sarkodie’s last year ‘BlackLove Virtual concert’ secured him a nomination at the 39th IRAWMA’s after it recorded impressive numbers.

The award-winning rapper was nominated in the ‘Best Virtual Showcase/Concert’ category. Sarkodie will be facing tight competition from heavy weights like Beenie Man vs Bounty Verzuz Battle, Rebel Salute, Reggae Sumfest.

The International Reggae & World Music Awards (IRAWMA) was established in 1982 with the task to acknowledge and honor the accomplishments and contributions of reggae and world music artists, including: songwriters, performers, promoters and musicians.

Buju Banton, Popcaan, Sizzla Kolongi, Wizkid, Burna Boy and Davido where all nominated in various categories.

The 2021 Edition of the awards will be organized in Jamaica.
