Gospel musician Yaw Sarpong has confirmed to Ghanaontheglobe.com that award-winning rapper, Sarkodie was the only musician who supported him with money when he had an accident.
According to the gospel legend after his accident which happened on October 8, 2020 his fellow gospel musicians and even contemporary Ghanaian musicians failed to support him except rapper Sarkodie.
Yaw Sarpong indicated on Onua Fm that he was surprised when Sarkodie offered him financial support which he least expected. He indicated that Sarkodie supported him with huge amount of money which was a surprise to him.
Yaw Sarpong added that he was really grateful to Sarkodie for such a benevolent gesture.

As Ghanaontheglobe.com earlier reported the accident happened at Dwaso Junction on the Kumasi stretch some few minutes ago.
It was said that the accident occurred after an over speeding truck trying to overtake another vehicle took over their lane—and in attempt to avoid a head-on collision, the car which the Gospel star was driving in got hit by a different vehicle.
The Gospel musician’s vehicle landed in a ditch after it was hit by the other vehicle.
The occupants of the vehicle sustained minor injuries and they are received treatment at the Dwaso hospital.
Yaw Sarpong was in the vehicle with his backing vocalist, Maame Tiwaa and two other people.
