According to verified information available to Ghanaontheglobe.com the circulating flyer of Sarkodie been featured on Jay Z’s “Ascension” album which is yet to be released is an April fool prank.
Already our earlier cross-check of the origin of the flyer indicates the prank. The list included featured African artistes like Sarkodie, Olamide, Nasty C and Aka.

According to a Twitter trends cited by Ghanaontheglobe.com circulating on Social Media Ghana’s king of rap, Michael Owusu Addo known as Sarkodie has been featured on “Ascension” album by Shawn Corey Carter known as Jay Z.
Even though the information is uncormfirmed a flyer of the album shows African rappers like Sarkodie, Olamide, Nasty C and Femi Kuti featured on Jay Z’s “Ascension” album.
This is a good news for the African rap culture if actually it is true. Recently Beyonce featured many African acts on her “Lion King” album which has dominated the global scene leading to a GRAMMY win.
Most reports has been circulating for a while now that Sarkodie will likely be featured on Jay Z’s upcoming album. We can’t confirm whether it is an April fool or true but as the elders say there is no smoke without fire.
