I wanted to win National Science & Maths Quiz for Achimota, their past contestants should’ve done better – Iras Marhguy

According Achimota School  rejected rastafarian student, Tyrone Iras Marhguy, his only wish of going to the school was to contest and win National Maths and Science Quiz for Achimota School.

In a recent interview of Iras Marhguy which was cited by Ghanaontheglobe.com, he indicated that way back in Junior High School when he watched Achimota School contest at the National Maths and Science Quiz he felt he will one-day represent and possibly win it for them.

Tyrone added that when watching the competition in the past, most at times he feels the past Achimota School contestants at the National Maths and Science Quiz could have done better than what they did.

Tyrone Iras Marhguy was recently in the news for been rejected by Achimota School because of his dreadlocks and have since sued the school as Ghanaontheglobe.com reported. He told Ameyaw Tv that,

“I wanted to know everything about the school so that when someone says his/her SHS was better I would say, don’t go there because Achimota is way much better. I also watched their NSMQ performance and I was like Achimota is prestigious and could do better. I think its been about 17 years without a trophy, they could do better and at least I could contribute greatly to that.”
