Due to his love for Sarkodie, before Asiamah’s sickness there was no Sarkodie song that he couldn’t rap, most of his classmates call him Sarkodie according to  Ghanaontheglobe.com sources.

Sarkodie who was exhibiting his benevolent gesture made the highest donation of $10,000 to support 13 year old Asiamah.

Hi. My name is Michael Kofi Asiamah. I am 13years old. Like any teenager, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family and exploring my hobbies.

I am a songwriter. Specifically, Christian rap. I have many original songs that I’ve shared at events. My friends also call me Sark because there’s no Sarkodie song I cannot rap verbatim.

At school, I have been consistently recognized as one of the best overall students. I’m always happy to take on new challenges and my dream is to become one of the world’s best and coolest neurosurgeons and Christian rappers of all time.

In 2020 I begun having regular headaches. Doctors thought they could be caused by strain on my eyes. My vision also became slightly blurry and after seeing an eye doctor I was prescribed eyeglasses. While this helped with the blurry vision, the headaches became worse causing me to feel sick and vomit all the time. I also gained a lot of weight in a short time.

Two weeks ago, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor sitting in the middle of my brain. Doctors told my mother I would need two surgeries urgently. Due to high pressure in my head(intracranial pressure) causing damage to my brain, an emergency surgery was done within 24 hours of my diagnosis and a tube was placed to drain the fluid from my brain and stop the headaches. The second surgery to remove the tumor is scheduled for Tuesday, 6th April, 2021. Due to the placement of the tumor, doctors are unsure they will be able to surgically remove all of it without fatal injuries. The part of the brain affected controls my breathing and other critical body functions. The plan is to undergo radiotherapy in the weeks and months following surgery to shrink the rest of the tumor that can’t be removed.

The treatment plan is detailed and extensive. The estimated total cost is $30,000. This is a hefty amount of money and I realize my family alone cannot raise all of it. I am relying on the kindness of friends, family, and strangers to save my life by donating to this GoFundMe account. Please know that no amount is too little. I know we’re in difficult times, but with your support I can live to fulfill my dreams. Please help me. Please save my life.
