Fast-rising Ghanaian drill hip-hop artiste, Yaw Tog has been named as the winner of “BET Amplified International” Artist of The Month. Yaw Tog happens to be the first Ghanaian to win such a prestige.
According to Ghanaontheglobe.com reports, Black Entertainment Television has indicated that “BET Amplified International” is their seal of approval on the next big thing in music.
Yaw Tog was announced winner of the “BET Amplified International” today, BET stated,
“BET International is proud to announce Yaw Tog Official as our April “BET Amplified International” Artist of The Month! BET Amplified is our seal of approval on the next big thing in music! Stay tuned to our social accounts to see more of Yaw Tog throughout the month of April!”

Yaw Tog was born and raised in Santasi, Kumasi where he is currently a final year General Arts student of Opoku Ware Senior High School (OWASS) located at Santasi in Kumasi, Ashanti Region.
He is best known for his 2020 hit single, “Sore” which means “rise up” and it features the likes of O‘Kenneth, City Boy, Reggie, and Jay Bahd. He recently remixed the “Sore” hit single with UK-based Ghanaian international hip hop superstar, Stormzy, and Kwesi Arthur.
