Information reaching Ghanaontheglobe.com indicates that fishermen at Sakumono beach in the Tema Metropolitan district in Greater Accra Region have captured thousands of plastics instead of fish.

The incident happened on Saturday, 24th April, 2021 when the Sakumono beach fishermen decided to go for  their normal fishing expedition duty when the unfortunate incident happened.

According to Ghanaontheglobe.com reports the fishermen captured zero fish that very day but instead they came home with uncountable number of plastics.

This is really a shock to the fishermen because they can’t recollect a similar incident like that.

The unfortunate incident shows how our beaches are being destroyed each and everyday by wast pollution.

Sakumono beach is in the Tema Metropolitan district, a district in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.
