According to Ghanaontheglobe.com reports, popular investigative journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni has indicated that the entire Ghanaian media are seriously afraid to talk about the mess in Akufo-Addo led government because of fear.

Manasseh Azure has stated clearly that the kind of pressure the media gave to Ex-President John Dramani Mahama is completely different from what they are doing to President Akufo-Addo

In a post cited by Ghanaontheglobe.com the outspoken journalist think the entire Ghanaian media fear Akufo-Addo and his government that’s why they don’t talk about him. Manasseh who was seconding Gary Smith’s comment stated,

“There is no doubt about the fact that many institutions that put the JDM government on its toes have taken a significant backseat in this current government.

Especially we in the media. The kind of heat we, collectively, gave the Mahama government is not what we are doing for the Akufo-Addo government at all. The clergy, same. Civil society, same.

There are legitimate fears among these groups about being silenced through communist tactics, and through a seeming governmental will to chase down those who speak against it.

We are all the poorer for it.”
