Kissi Agyebeng, the Managing Partner of Cornwell Gray LLP, an official Law Firm was approved by Parliament as the next next Special Prosecutor after his vetting on Thursday, July 22.
According to Ghanaontheglobe.com reports, Kissi Agyebeng, a 43-year-old Private legal Practitioner and also a Lecturer at the University of Ghana School of Law, where he teaches and researches Criminal law, international humanitarian law, corporate law has been vetted and approved by Appointment Committee of Parliament as next Special Prosecutor (SP).
Less than an hour after an over three- hour vetting by the members of the Parliament’s Appointments Committee, he was recommended for approval as the Special Prosecutor.

The Chairman of the Committee, Joseph Osei Owusu said the members were satisfied with the answers provided by the nominee, thus why they approved him.
During his screening, Mr Agyebeng said it will not be possible for him to stop corruption but he will make the practice a high risk activity in order to deter people from indulging in it.
“He met all requirements we were looking for”, The members of the committee said, a reason for approving him by consensus after a successful vetting.
