UTAG STRIKE: University Of Ghana Suspend Semester Exams

According to official release available to Ghana’s most reliable news portal, Ghanaontheglobe.com the University of Ghana have suspended it’s semester examination.

The exams which was scheduled to start on 5th August could not commence due to the ongoing strike by University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) .

The strike by UTAG seeks to put pressure on government over a better condition of service.

Additionally, the resumption of the Level 200 and Level 300 batches for the Second Semester, 2020/2021 has been adjourned.

POSTPONEMENT OF UPCOMING FINAL EXAMINATIONS

The Business and Executive Committee of the University of Ghana at its meeting of 6th August, 2021, decided to postpone the upcoming Level 100 and Level 400 Second Semester 2020/2021 Academic Year Examinations due to the on-going strike actions.

 

Additionally, the resumption of the Level 200 and Level 300 batches for the Second Semester, 2020/2021 has been adjourned.

The University remains open for now, and academic activities will resume when services are restored.

Stakeholders will be kept updated on any developments.
