Madrid has secured Mbape on lesser wages than he’d have gotten him for on a free move next season, they get him a year earlier, and they publicly bully PSG and maintain their status as the biggest club in the world.
Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe has completed his mega-money transfer to Real Madrid, according to reports in Spain.
Los Blancos tabled an improved offer of €170million (£146m) for Mbappe, 22, on Thursday and PSG have allegedly accepted the bid after softening their heart.
The young talented forward has already rejected several lucrative extensions to stay in PSG.
The French club’s sporting director, Leonardo, issued a strongly-worded warning to the Spanish giants after they failed to meet Mbappe’s price tag earlier this week with a €160million (£137m) offer.
But Real Madrid president Florentino Perez was unfazed and returned with an improved bid of £146million up front and a further €10million (£8.5m) in add-ons.
Mbappe could be unveiled as a Real Madrid player on Friday
That’s according to Marca, who claim Mbappe could be announced as a Real Madrid player as early as Friday during an unveiling in the Spanish capital.
The report adds PSG president Nasser-Khelaifi is furious with Santiago Bernabeu chiefs for the way they have conducted themselves throughout the transfer saga.
He is particularly aggrieved and believes Mbappe will not be given a prosper send off, as it is believed he will immediately join up with the France squad after his presentation in the Spain capital.
