Papavi Hogbedetor’s real name is Charles Komi Kudzodzi, he was born on April 7, 1934 in the Volta Region of Ghana.
He was the leader of the Volta separatist group, Homeland Study Group Foundation (HSGF).
He died at age 87.
Founder of Western Togoland, Papavi Hogbedetor reported dead
According to information reaching Ghanaontheglobe.com , the founder of Western Togoland, Charles Komi Kudzodzi widely known as Papavi Hogbedetor has been reported dead.
Papavi Hogbedetor is the founder of the separatist group, Homeland Study Group Foundation (HSGF) who recently terrorised some part of Volta Region in their quest to gain independence for Western Togoland.
According to reports he died at the age 87 during the late hours of Friday, 15th October 2021 at a hospital in the Volta region of Ghana according to media reports.
He was born on April 7, 1934.
Sometime ago in November 2019 Papavi Hogbedetor declared the Volta region as an independent Western Togoland state at a public gathering held in Ho in the Volta Region.
Papavi Hogbedetor was arrested on 28th July 2021 at his private residence in Ho in the Volta Region.
Subsequently he was granted a GHC16k bail by a Ho High Court on health grounds.
Many Ghanaians talked against their numerous attacks and at the moment most of the members belonging to the group have been arrested.
