Ghanaians would’ve chastised Sarkodie if he jumped on “Second Sermon” but are praising Burna Boy – George Britton

The founder and Chief Executive Officer of George Britton Records, Mr. George Britton has chastised Ghanaians for praising Burna Boy after he jumped on “Second Sermon Remix”.

According to George, Ghanaians would have criticized Sarkodie for taking Black Sherif shine if he had jumped on the remix.

Burna Boy has jumped on the remix of “Second Sermon” after it went viral. The song has recorded over 6 million views on YouTube and it’s currently trending across the continent.

George Britton wrote on his Facebook timeline that,

“If Sarkodie had jumped on Black Sherif’s 2nd Sermon, Ghanaians woulda said he was trying to feed on the young man’s shine. But here we praising Burna Boy for doing the same. We need to start building our people to have open minds for the sake of the culture.”
