“I spent 10 years at the psychiatric hospital” – TV3 Mentor 2nd Runner up

The 2009 second runner up for Tv3’s flagship program, Mentor has disclosed the challenges she is going through with his current life as things are not as easy as people imagine.

A recent interview sighted by Ghanaontheglobe.com, Angel Akuamoah Boateng currently known as Angel Blessing, the 2008/2009 2nd Runner up for Mentor has revealed how she struggle to even afford her daily meal.

She became famous in 2008 after contesting in the popular TV3 mentor at a time when traditional televisions were dominant in the television scene.

In an interview with Emmanuel Agyemang of Obibini TV, Angel indicated that she struggles to make ends meet because, at present, she has no meaningful source of livelihood.

Angel mentioned that after her fame in 2008, life took a different turn and she became mentally ill and incapacitated for a long time.

“I could not do anything for myself. I spent time at the psychiatric hospital every single year for 10 years. I was taken away from my children and I still long to meet them,” she said.

In recent times many Ghanaian celebrities have been in the limelight appealing to the government and the public for support.
