Ghana’s President His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has finally received his famous Forbes ”African Of The Year” plaque for 2021.
On Thursday, 9th December, 2021 President Akufo-Addo received a team of delegation from Forbes Magazine at the Jubilee House to Officially receive his Forbes ”African Of The Year” plaque.
According to Forbes, President Nana Akufo-Addo has repositioned the country in the global marketplace as one reliant on its own resources and strengths and also redefining economic development and it’s resonating across Africa.

The First Gentleman of Ghana also recieved President of the United States National Bar Association, Judge Carlos E. Moore, who also presented a ”Lifetime Achievement Award” in recognition of his initiative to provide free quality education to students which will help with the broader development of Ghana as highlighted in Goal 4 of the United Nation Sustainable Development Goals.
Previous winners of the Forbes ”African Of The Year” award include Rwandan President Paul Kagame (2018), President of the African Development Bank Akinwumi Adesina (2019) and World Trade Organization Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala (2020).
