NPP MPs Pass E-Levy Despite Minority Walkout

The Majority caucus of Ghana’s Parliament led by Majority leader, Honorable Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu have successfully passed the controversial E-Levy.

The E-levy was passed on Tuesday March, 20 after the third reading in the House.

Despite the Minority caucus of Parliament walking out the Majority still proceeded to pass the E-Levy bill

Already most Ghanaians have rejected the request by the Akufo-Addo led government to introduce E-Levy.

The current government still insist the E-Levy is a must to widen the country’s tax base even though most people disagree.
