Currently over 20 million Sim Cards have still not complied with the directive by the Ministry of Communication led by Ursula Owusu to link their Ghana Card to their SIM cards.

The Communications Ministry subsequently said 12 million Ghanaians have so far linked their Ghana cards to their SIM.

In a recent interview the sector Minister, Ursula Owusu indicated that she will be deliberating about the issue with all stakeholders to confirm if the SIM cards should be blocked or not.
