He won the New Artist award from the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and the Ghana Music Awards UK. He also received the Most Promising Artist in Africa award from (AFRIMA).
Kuami Eugene was born to Alex and Juliana Marfo in Oda, Ghana. His interest in music led him to sing in the church from a very young age where he also learnt how to play the drum, keyboard and guitar.
When ever the name Kuami Eugene comes in mind, the name Fadama also comes in mind. Kuami Eugene is set to organize his first major big show at fadama .Ahead of the show he has payed a courtesy visit to the Office of The National Chief Imam of Ghana, Dr. Osman Nuhu Sharubutu with other key industry people to seek his blessings.
Unarguably the National Chief Imam is the first gentleman of Fadama, so it is appropriate to visit him and seek his prayers ahead of the show. The free show will be held this Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the Fadama park. Many Ghanaian musicians are also expected to join him on stage.
Below is a tweet from 3 Music Awards Ceo Sadique Abdulai:
