Mr. Eazi wants to partner Kanye West to help elevate African music to the next level

Forward thinking Nigerian artiste, Oluwatosin Ajibade better known in African showbiz as Mr. Eazi has made it known to the public that he would love to work with American music legend Kanye West on ‘Empawa’ in order to help elevate African music to the next level. Mr. Eazi made this clear when he responded to one of Kenya West’s rant concerning unfair deals by record labels on Twitter.

In case you don’t know, Kanye West is not happy with how self acclaimed big record labels dupe musicians of millions and billions of Dollars through a contract which is usually unfair. Ghanontheglobe.com noted that one of Kanye West tweet which indicated that we dont have musicians who have made billions through music because of bad contracts by most record labels.


Kanye has promised to make sure that he speak in other to create awareness so that record labels cannot dupe artistes with their ‘slavery contracts’. Kanye West is a musician and a business mogul who has made over a billion from his businesses.

Born on 19th July 1991, Oluwatosin Ajibade better known by his stage name Mr Eazi, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur. He is the pioneer of Banku music, a fusion sound he describes as a mixture of Ghanaian highlife and Nigerian chord progressions and patterns. Mr Eazi relocated to Kumasi in 2008 and enrolled at KNUST, where he began booking artists to perform at college parties. He showed interest in music after recording a guest verse on “My Life”, a song that gained traction and became a popular record at KNUST. Mr Eazi released his debut mixtape ‘About to Blow’ in July 2013. He gained an international audience following the release of the Efya-assisted single “Skin Tight”. His second mixtape Life Is Eazi, Vol. 1 – Accra To Lagos was released on 10 February 2017. In March 2018, several outlets reported that Mr Eazi signed a record deal with Diplo’s label Mad Decent. Mr Eazi signed a licensing deal with Universal Africa, a subsidiary of Universal Music Group.
